Doug Zmurchok has been named Atlantic Engraving’s new sales agent in Western Canada.
Atlantic Engraving (AE) has appointed Doug Zmurchok Agencies as its representative for British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

“We are very excited to have Doug join the Atlantic family,” said Freydi Neuwirth Traurig, the company’s vice-president of marketing and manufacturing. “He will not only represent AE, but will be our director of sales and marketing for Western Canada. Together with Doug’s proven professional sales force and strength and AE’s design and quality, we are eager and excited by the new opportunities awaiting us. We look forward to implementing many exciting and new strategies with Doug, who is eager to represent AE. Doug will be debuting AE’s new B2B website, which enables our retailers to research and order their rings 24-7.”

Based in Montreal, the wedding band manufacturer is a three-generation company led by Neuwirth Traurig. Her father, Robert Neuwirth, serves as operations manager, her mother, Celia, is vice-president, while her sister, Frumi Neuwirth Lipsh, oversees administration.

Eighty-five per cent of Atlantic Engraving’s production comprises men’s wedding bands, which are made from seamless tubing.

“There is no question that customers looking to buy jewellery in Canadian stores are drawn towards ‘buying Canadian,'” Zmurchok said. “Canadian products are in high demand and are of first-rate quality. With the addition of Atlantic Engraving’s high-quality products to my clients’ stores, it is now even easier to sell an entirely Canadian product. This not only exceeds the needs of customers, but also supports the Canadian jewellery business and will help propel [our] industry forward.”
