The Mode Accessories Show is toasting its silver jubilee and thanking its supporters over the years.
Launched in 1987 and with two editions per year, it is billed as Canada’s only trade show devoted to fashion accessories.
Over the years, it has weathered recessions and shaky consumer confidence, while still enjoying healthy exhibitor and buyer participation. The event’s owners—Alice Chee and Ann Dutchburn—say the show has been sold out with a waiting list of exhibitors to get in.
“We are grateful for the continued support of exhibitors and buyers who have made the show what it is today,” Chee says. “The Mode Accessories Show celebrates the maturity and strength of the fashion accessory industry today. It is truly a reflection of the growth of this sector from infancy in the late 1980s to the current retail phenomenon unfolding before us.”
