The Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) has given its Ben Kaiser Award to Jewelers Mutual president and chief executive officer (CEO), Darwin Copeman.
The award is bestowed on men who promote the roles of women within the jewellery industry.
“It is an honour to receive the Ben Kaiser Award from the Women’s Jewelry Association,” Copeman said.
“At Jewelers Mutual, I am a firm believer that our company is strongest when we have a balanced group of men and women around the table, bringing different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences to each decision.”
The honour was handed out at WJA’s 30th Annual Awards for Excellence reception in New York City.
Past winners include former Birks & Mayors CEO Tom Andruskevich, Matt Stuller of Stuller Inc., and James Courage, CEO of Platinum Guild International (PGI).
