Members of the jewellery industry will have the opportunity for hands-on technological learning at an upcoming open house hosted by Toronto wholesaler European Design Jewellery. The two-day Test Drive Event will feature live demonstrations, chances to test new tools and products, and insight from industry experts.
Attendees will be able to check out the latest offerings from Vallorbe, Orotig, Legor, Elma, and Murua, trying their hand at everything from microsetting systems to laser welders and engravers. They will also have the chance to win an ultrasonic and digital ring sizers. Workshops on live plating will be offered, and Swarovski Gemstones will unveil new gemstone colours and cuts.
No registration is required for this drop-in event, which will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 28 and 29. Those interested in attending can stop by 21 Dundas Square, Unit 510, in Toronto on either date.
