More than 120 exhibitors are set to welcome buyers at JCK Tucson.
According to JCK Events, the number of pre-registered buyers for the show’s second edition is up 20 per cent over last year. JCK Tucson runs from Feb. 2 to 7.
“We are looking forward to kicking off another great year of shows for the jewellery world beginning with JCK Tucson, and are thrilled the community is already engaged, as seen by the pre-registration numbers that are tracking well ahead of last year,” said Yancy Weinrich, group vice-president of JCK Events.
“They will not be disappointed—we have an excellent program in store for Tucson that includes all of JCK’s signature elements: networking events and education sessions (such as “Redefining Retail” presented by Diane Warga-Arias, The Jewelry Activist on Feb. 4), the convenience of free transportation shuttles to and from adjacent shows, and gourmet food trucks.
“This year we’ve upped the focus on accessible designer jewellery, adding a designated German Design area and featuring more new talent in the Design Centre. We’ve added networking and cocktail events within these two areas to boost conversations and facilitate introductions in a casual and friendly way. All in all, it’s just a very pleasant atmosphere and, as past attendees will attest, the JW Marriot Starr Pass Resort & Spa is the perfect backdrop to this easy-going show experience. In fact, JCK Tucson will once again serve as the backdrop for Shop HQ’s live broadcast during Tucson gem and jewellery weeks.”

This year’s Design Centre showcases the latest trends and collections of artisan-quality and fashion-forward jewellery from names, such as:

• Marcin Zaremski
• Alishan;
• Dorian & Rose; and
• Michael Jensen Designs.
