Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is holding its annual New York Jewelry Career Fair.
The free event is set for July 27 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Javits Center. Recruiting begins at 10:15 a.m.       Â
Representatives from gem and jewellery companies will be looking to hire hundreds of skilled and motivated professionals at every career stage in fields ranging from marketing and sales to design and manufacturing.
An opening panel presentation, “Job Success in Today’s Market,” will be moderated by GIA’s president and chief executive officer (CEO) Susan Jacques and will feature Jeremy Dunn of The Rephinery; Rhonda Edelman of Tiffany & Co.; Myriam Gumuchian of Gumuchian; Michael O’Connor of Style & Substance, Inc; and Lee Siegelson of Siegelson.
