Front-back earrings, horizontal pendants, and two-finger rings are some of the stand-out styles seen at this year’s Las Vegas shows.
According to JCK Events, 2300 exhibitors welcomed more than 22,000 buyers, a four per cent increase over last year’s attendance. The mood on the JCK show floor, along with that of Couture, seemed optimistic the North American jewellery industry had turned a corner.
The more positive vibe seemed a welcome relief to exhibitors coming off a slow start to the year and bodes well for the second half of 2015.
“The collections featured at this year’s show were some of the best retailers have seen in years,” said Yancy Weinrich, senior vice-president of JCK. “I heard over and over how impressed they were with the innovative designs, superior craftsmanship, and salability of the products shown.”
