A laboratory-grown diamond collection is set to take centre stage as part of the Virtual Diamond Boutique’s latest product launch.
The gem and jewellery e-marketplace has introduced the VDB Online Auction House. The platform aims to streamline B2B industry auctions and connect buyers and sellers.
“VDB previously launched a successful virtual auction app for the Jewelers for Children charity during the pandemic,” says the group’s president and CEO, Tanya Nisguretsky. “Now, we have created an independent platform with no middleman that will facilitate relationships, strengthen the supply chain, and create more business for all involved.”
To help launch the app, VDB will host a lab-grown diamond direct auction as part of a series of inaugural auctions with supplier, Mercury Ring. The sale will feature 1000 loose lab-grown diamonds, as well as lab-grown diamond jewellery. All diamonds are certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI).
“We are extremely excited to launch this special auction site with VDB,” says Mercury Ring president, Ateet Shah. “Our vertical integration and strong infrastructure, along with VDB’s technologically advanced team of experts, will make this a truly successful venture.”
The auction will take place Nov. 8 to 10. For more, click here.
