The Jewelry Symposium (TJS), an annual international event focused on advancing jewellery manufacturing technology, has officially opened registration for its 2025 edition. The event will take place from May 17 to May 20, 2025, at the Detroit Marriott Troy.
In addition to registration, TJS is now accepting scholarship applications for students and aspiring jewellers, thanks to a generous contribution from Studio 2015. The scholarship program, introduced in 2024, is designed to support those wishing to attend the symposium.
“We welcome new participants for 2025, and the entire board is thrilled by both the quantity and quality of esteemed speakers who will be joining us,” said Linus Drogs, TJS Board chairman. “We are grateful to be able to offer scholarships again this year, and we are purposely starting the process much earlier to give awardees plenty of time to plan for their attendance.”
Now entering its third year, TJS has received a number of high-quality abstracts, leading to an extension of the event’s duration. The symposium will feature presentations on cutting-edge topics, including design software, additive manufacturing, generative AI, metallurgy, jewelry manufacturing processes, sustainability, and safety. There will also be critical discussions on recruitment and talent development, addressing the growing concern over talent attrition in the industry.
