The latest Charlie and the Chocolate Factory adaptation to grace the big screen, Paul King’s Wonka, poses as inspiration for American fashion brand Fossil’s new chocolate- and gold-themed capsule jewellery and accessory collection.

According to the company’s creative director, Cristina Platania, “Our designers were inspired by Wonka’s totally imaginative, outlandish world and leaned into the nostalgia of the story.”

Headlining the collection are limited-edition Wonka twists to two classic Fossil watches: the Carraway and the Raquel. Priced at US$220 (C$290), the Willy Wonka x Fossil Carraway features a chocolate-bar-inspired dial and a golden ticket etched into its caseback. The Raquel, priced at US$195 (C$258), is inspired by the lickable wallpaper featured in the film. Its design highlights a fruit-patterned leather strap and a quote from the film on its caseback.

Other special-edition jewellery pieces include a statement signet ring, replicating the iconic golden ticket (US$70, C$93); a pendant alluding to Willy Wonka’s Fizzy Lifting Drink (US$135, C$179); and a lickable-wallpaper-inspired set with stud earrings (US$145, C$192), a necklace (US$155, C$205), and a bracelet (US$145, C$192), all featuring fruit-shaped crystals.

The packaging of each piece is crafted to resemble a chocolate bar, while the certificate of authenticity mirrors the design of a golden ticket.
