The Vicenza Fiera’s AboutJ show is moving to the City of Water in 2010.
Normally held in February in Milan, the jewellery show is heading east to Venice and taking place in May, just before Charm.
Since its inaugural event two years ago, AboutJ had been held in Milan during the city’s Fashion Week. At the time, organizers felt the show’s timing and locale helped position it alongside one of the fashion events of the year.
With the move to Venice, exhibitors will be able to combine AboutJ before Charm, which is held in Vicenza about an hour’s drive away.
AboutJ’s invitation-only exhibitor roster has included Calgaro, Favero, Marco Bicego, Mattioli, and Roberto Coin. This year’s event in February featured about 80 exhibitors with 250 buyers attending.
