The Jewelry Symposium (TJS), formerly the Santa Fe Symposium, is set to begin its second iteration this spring. An annual international industry event focusing on the advancement of jewellery manufacturing technology, TJS 2024 will take place in Detroit, Mich., from May 18 to May 21.

Hosted at the Detroit Marriott Troy, TJS invites a global mix of industry experts to share novel and cutting-edge jewellery manufacturing insights with bench jewellers, designers, manufacturers, students, retailers, and the press. The event will feature curated presentations on a variety of industry-specific topics, such as artificial intelligence (AI), 3D printing, jewellery forensics, watchmaking, and more.

“There is truly something for everyone,” says TJS board chair Linus Drogs. “Whether you are a student or a veteran designer/manufacturer, or even a retailer with bench jewellers in your store, you are sure to find a wealth of information and inspiration at TJS 2024.”

According to Drogs, the TJS vision focuses on “eliminating information-sharing barriers within [the jewellery] industry.”

Those interested in the event can visit the TJS website for more information.
