Thirty-one people in three countries have been arrested in connection with a $50-million diamond heist at Brussels Airport earlier this year.

According to the Associated Press, police carried out a series of raids in France, Switzerland, and Belgium.

Investigators recovered money in Belgium and diamonds in Switzerland, although no amounts were specified.

On Feb. 18, thieves made off with the diamonds, which had been loaded onto a plane bound for Zurich. Police estimate the theft took all of five minutes, after robbers dressed in dark police clothing and brandishing machine guns drove onto the tarmac in cars with flashing police lights.
