Birks shines spotlight on 16.01-carat yellow diamond

SB_birks-copy — The Birks fancy intense yellow diamond weighs 16.01 carats, has a natural origin of colour; an even saturation, and a clarity grade of VVS1. It is now on display at the Edmonton location.

A natural 16.01-carat Asscher-cut yellow diamond will be on display at Birks’ Edmonton location.

Set in a platinum ring and surrounded by diamond pavé, the rare fancy intense yellow stone is guaranteed conflict-free and has been sourced ethically through a responsible chain of custody, the company says.

The diamond—which has an even saturation and a clarity grade of VVS1—will be making its way to Calgary following the Edmonton showing.
