A morning robbery at a jewellery store in Ottawa’s Glebe neighbourhood has sparked a police investigation.

According to CTV News[1], authorities responded to a panic alarm at a business on the 700 block of Bank Street, near Third Avenue. When officers arrived, they confirmed the store had been robbed, but the suspects had already fled. With the investigation still in its early stages, police have not released further details.

The robbery occurred at Davidson’s Jewellers, where police activity was visible following the incident. The store later announced its temporary closure on social media, citing “unforeseen circumstances” and apologizing for any inconvenience caused.

The investigation is ongoing as police work to identify and locate the suspects.
