Memorabilia manufacturer Jostens has unveiled the Canadian Football League’s (CFL’s) 2018 Grey Cup championship ring.
Crafted from 10-karat white and yellow gold, the design features the logo of Grey Cup winners the Calgary Stampeders. This element of the piece was created using 44 pave-set diamonds, set atop a red, diamond-cut stone, and surrounded with an additional 134 diamonds.
One side of the ring features the championship year date, set in 23 diamonds, while the other shows the recipient’s name. The interior of the ring features team’s motto, ‘12 Strong,’ along with the winning score of the championship game.
“We at Jostens are honoured to partner with the Stampeders once again to create a stunning championship ring,” said Miran Armutlu, Jostens’ vice-president of jewellery research and development.
