Canadian collaboration sparkles on New York City catwalks

Canadian talent went on display at New York City Fashion Week as models took to the runway in Canadian jewellery and fashion designs.

More than $54,000 in jewels from Polar Bear Diamond’s signature pieces complemented Toronto-based fashion designer Arthur Mendonça’s ‘autumn automne outono 2008’ collection. This is the second Canadian fashion designer to be sponsored by Polar Bear Diamond.

“This joint showing is a very Canadian package from design to execution,” says the company’s creative director Reuben Tom Kee, who also designed the series.
