De Beers’ Forevermark brand in Canada will be produced in partnership by Crossworks Manufacturing, the Martin Ross Group, and M.K. Diamonds & Jewelry. Forevermark ring by Libman & Co. (a division of Martin Ross) with .50-carat centre and .545 ctw on halo and top shank.

Martin Ross Group has been named one of two manufacturers of the Forevermark diamond brand in Canada.

Libman & Co., a division of the Martin Ross Group, will manufacture the exclusive lines at its facility in Toronto in partnership with Crossworks Manufacturing, which will cut and polish the diamonds at its factories in Sudbury, Ont., and Yellowknife. Los Angeles-based M.K. Diamonds & Jewelry is the second manufacturer. Most of the diamonds will be sourced from De Beers Canada’s Snap Lake Mine in the Northwest Territories and the Victor Mine in Northern Ontario.

“We were honoured to be chosen to manufacture an exclusive line of jewellery by Forevermark and Crossworks,” said Cameron Gillies, president and chief operations officer (COO) of Martin Ross.

“This relationship is essentially a result of the constant care and concern Libman takes in its manufacturing and servicing processes, and provides yet another level of critical standard that our staff will always work to exceed,” added Martin Ross CEO Allen Shechtman.

“All styles and designs are created and manufactured in Canada by Libman”¦ and use Canadian gold from the Royal Canadian Mint, making it truly Canadian and one-of-a-kind.”

De Beers announced in late May it was bringing its Forevermark brand to Canada to be carried by 23 jewellers starting in September.

“We are pleased to be cutting and polishing these rare Canadian diamonds for exquisite pieces of jewellery,” said Dylan Dix, director of marketing and external relations for Crossworks. “Libman and M.K. are both tremendous jewellery manufacturers and have added two exciting collections for the launch of Forevermark in Canada.”

Moshe Kraiem, president of M.K. Diamonds & Jewelry, said he was looking forward to creating a line for Canada.

“To create a line of jewellery for Forevermark in Canada was an exciting opportunity and we have received incredibly positive feedback from the select group of retailers,” Kraiem said. “Forevermark will be the world’s diamond brand and we are pleased to be a part of the Canadian launch.”
