Pyrrha’s latest jewellery collaboration is all set to defy gravity! The Canadian jewellery brand, known for its sustainably handcrafted talisman pieces, has partnered with Universal Pictures to create a magical collection inspired by the film Wicked, starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. The magical collection hopes to celebrate the film’s iconic themes of duality, sisterhood, and connection through jewellery.
Crafted in Pyrrha’s certified zero-carbon studio in Vancouver, the Pyrrha x Wicked collection is made using 100 per cent recycled precious metals. Drawing inspiration from the characters Elphaba and Glinda, designers Danielle and Wade Papin created pieces that aim to forge a tangible connection to the film’s enduring story of friendship and empowerment.
“Working on this collaboration has been an amazing experience,” says co-designer Danielle Papin. “The themes of Wicked perfectly align with our brand values, and we’re thrilled to create talismans that both fans and jewelry lovers can cherish as symbols of connection and empowerment.”
The collection includes talismans featuring meaning cards. The pieces come in vibrant pink, green, or oxidized neutral tones, available in sterling silver or 14K gold. The versatile designs can be styled on classic chains or elegant pearls. Other items in the collection include statement stud earrings, and bold cigar band rings in colours representing the iconic characters, along with charms in the shape of a hat, a crown, and a distinctive “W” to add to necklaces. A standalone “W” necklace adorned with pink or green tourmaline is also part of the collection.
