Attention all young designers looking to get their big break.

Submissions for Centurion’s fifth annual Emerging Designers Competition are now being accepted, with three winners receiving complimentary tower showcase exhibit space at the show’s 2013 edition.

“Centurion is very proud to host this competition,” said show president and chief executive officer (CEO), Howard Hauben. “The winning artists embody creative talent and we are delighted to introduce them to the Centurion attendees, the nation’s finest jewellers.”

Centurion will be held in Scottsdale, Ariz., from Feb. 2 to 6. Once again, the contest is being sponsored by Stuller, Inc.

All designers, regardless of experience, formal training, or background in jewellery design, are eligible to enter. However, they must meet the following criteria:
ۥ they have never before exhibited at a U.S. fine jewellery trade show;
ۥ they have the ability to exhibit at a trade fair; and
ۥ they have the ability to supply high-end retailers, should they want to purchase the line.

The competition deadline is Sept. 30.

“Stuller has supported designers, craftsman, and artisans for 42 years, and we are thrilled and honoured to sponsor the Centurion 2013 Emerging Designers Competition,” said the company’s executive director of marketing and public relations, Ashley Brown.

“Exposing little-known talent to top-end buyers is one way the Centurion show and Stuller seek to provide the jewellery business a foundation for continued success through valuable partnerships. New styles, collaborations, and innovations will keep our industry relevant in a competitive consumer landscape.”
