“On behalf of the executive committee, board of directors, staff, and membership at large, I want to wish Ken the very best in his future endeavours, and thank him for his leadership and contributions to the association over the past four years,” said association chair, Peter Norton.
Mulhall joined CJA in 2007 after leaving the Canadian Association for Pharmacy Distribution Management where he served as senior vice-president of industry relations.
Prior to that, he was with Loblaw Companies Ltd. for 15 years, working his way up to vice-president of environmental affairs.
During his time with CJA, Mulhall created the CIBJO Association Executive Networking Commission (CAENCOM) and served as its president. The commission was developed as a means for opening up the lines of communication and the sharing of information among the heads of national jewellery associations within CIBJO.
No reason was given for Mulhall’s departure. The executive committee is currently looking for a replacement.
