The Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) is currently managing a cyberattack. As a result, the financial intelligence agency has taken its corporate systems offline, to ensure their integrity and protect the information it maintains.

In a statement[1] posted on its website, FINTRAC reports the incident does not involve its intelligence or classified systems. The agency is collaborating closely with its federal partners, including Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, to protect and recover its systems.
