Twenty-two Canadian jewellery retailers will now carry De Beers’ Forevermark diamonds.

Mostly sourced from De Beers Canada’s Snap Lake Mine in the Northwest Territories and the Victor Mine in Northern Ontario, the diamonds will be cut and polished by Crossworks Manufacturing at its facilities in Sudbury, Ont., and Yellowknife.

It’s the first time the brand will be available in Canada.

“As part of our steady, global expansion, Forevermark is thrilled to announce the launch of Forevermark Canada to the trade,” said Forevermark U.S. president Charles Stanley.

“Having proudly incorporated a carefully selected, industry-respected family of partners here in the United States, Forevermark, with high hopes, welcomes its Canadian partners.”
