Delcam will preview the latest version of ArtCAM JewelSmith, which supports 3D printing, at JCK Las Vegas.
Held in booth B6472, the demonstration will highlight the software’s newest features, which include:
• a gem library that can be added to by the user;
• the KeyShot rendering system, which creates extremely accurate and life-like images for either customers or retailers to view, or for the production of catalogues and other marketing materials; and
• a new ‘putty’ tool, allowing models to be edited by picking an area to be moved, swirled, pinched, or puckered. Delcam says this feature is especially valuable when creating a series of variants on a repeating element in a design or subtly changing fine details within a model. In addition, many of the modelling options now show the results of changes in real time.
The company says future releases of ArtCAM JewelSmith will support 3D printing with Ember and other 3D printers.
JCK Las Vegas runs from May 29 to June 1.
