Dominion Diamond Corp., says two of its board members have resigned.
According to a short press release, Fiona Perrott-Humphrey and Ollie Oliveira have left the company for personal reasons.
“On behalf of the board, we would like to thank Fiona Perrott-Humphrey and Ollie Oliveira for their contribution and support during their tenure,” said board chair Robert A. Gannicott and Daniel Jarvis, lead director of the board.
The news comes on the heels of rumours Dominion may be looking for a buyer. A report in Bloomberg said the Canadian company—which owns the Ekati mine in the Northwest Territories and 40 per cent of the Diavik mine—was facing criticism from  Toronto-based K2 & Associates Investment Management over what it says were lost opportunities to increase share value.
