In honour of the much-anticipated sequel to Tim Burton’s 1988 film, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Fabergé has joined forces with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to unveil the Fabergé x Beetlejuice Beetlejuice® fine jewellery collection.
The collection, created alongside Tim Burton and costume design Colleen Atwood, features an array of 18K white gold pieces, including earrings, pendants, lapel pins, collar bars, and rings. The designs are inspired by spiral motif commonly seen in Tim Burton’s films and two iconic Beetlejuice characters: Headworm and Sandworm.
Each piece is adorned with responsibly sourced gemstones from Gemfields, the red rubies are sourced from Montepuez Ruby Mining in Mozambique, while the green emeralds come from Kagem Mining in Zambia. Both mines are majority-owned and operated by Gemfields. These gemstones are set alongside round brilliant-cut white diamonds and are enhanced with black, red, or green UV enamel, a technique synonymous with Fabergé’s craftsmanship.
Colleen Atwood says, “Costume design and Fabergé go together like kindred spirits. Both are constantly changing and evolving, and each uses classic technology alongside more innovative techniques in the creative process with the ultimate goal of creating beauty and bringing joy to others. I have immensely enjoyed the process of putting pencil to paper and watching our ideas evolve. There are no real barriers to bringing creativity to beautiful gems, each one with its own nuanced colour, and there are almost limitless possibilities with design. A quirky sense of fun is reflected in this collection and the hypnotic spirals and characterful motifs epitomise the spirit of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.”
