Failed robbery at Ontario jewellery store, suspects flee

Police in Brantford, Ont., are currently investigating an attempted robbery at a jewellery store located on Lynden Road. Five male suspects, all dressed in black and wearing masks, attempted to break into the store by smashing the front window. However, the suspects were unsuccessful in their efforts and fled the scene before gaining entry.

At the time of the incident, employees and patrons were inside the store, but no injuries were reported.

Police have released photos of the suspects, along with the following descriptions:

  • Suspect #1: Black male, approximately 17-22 years old, wearing a black hoodie and face covering.
  • Suspect #2: Black male, approximately 17-22 years old, between 5’11” and 6’2” tall, wearing a black jacket, balaclava, and sunglasses.
  • Suspect #3: Black male, approximately 17-22 years old, between 5’8” and 5’11” tall, wearing a black hoodie and balaclava.
  • Suspect #4: Male or female, black, approximately 17-22 years old, wearing a black hoodie and balaclava.
  • Suspect #5: Dressed in all black clothing.
