Football legend headlines AGS Conclave 2015

Four-time Super Bowl champion Terry Bradshaw will be the opening keynote speaker for American Gem Society’s (AGS’s) Conclave 2015.

Held in New Orleans, La., the gathering will also see award-winning author, journalist, and radio and TV personality, Steven Dubner, and sports broadcaster and author, Diana Nyad, make up an elite lineup of business leaders and innovators.

Other presenters include:

• Joel Zeff, a national workplace expert, speaker, author, and humorist, who will speak on ‘The Tao of Ta-Da,’ focusing on how to get the most out of your work and your life;

• Colleen Francis, who has studied for more than 20 years the habits of the top 10 per cent of sales performers from organizations of all sizes; and

• Brian Dodge, who will speak on the topic of building successful teams.

“We are very proud to say we are building on the momentum of a terrific Conclave in 2014 and we have carried that motivation over to our featured speakers in 2015,” said John Carter, chair of the Society’s Conclave Committee. “We thought it was fitting that since New Orleans will be our host city, our lineup should be of Cajun proportions. It will be big, bold, and like Mardi Gras”¦ impossible to forget.”Â 

JCK senior editor Rob Bates will return as emcee.

“Rob’s knowledge of the society and the industry, combined with his quick wit, have made him a popular emcee with our membership; we definitely wanted him to return,” said Ruth Batson, chief executive officer (CEO) of the American Gem Society and AGS Laboratories.
