Frederick Goldman has appointed former Birks and Mayors senior vice-president John Orrico as its executive vice-president of operations.
With more than 25 years’ experience at the senior executive level, Orrico will oversee manufacturing, supply chain management, procurement, production control, distribution, inventory planning, and quality control at the company’s New York, China, Mexico, and India facilities and beyond.
“John is a great fit for us,” said Frederick Goldman chief executive officer (CEO) Jonathan Goldman. “He brings an accomplished background to the position, including experience in developing global organizations, which is vital in a role that will work closely with me and the senior management team to define and implement our corporate strategy.”
Orrico also served as Birks and Mayors’ chief supply chain officer. Prior to that, he was Tiffany & Co.’s group vice-president (GVP) for merchandising supply chain and was key to re-developing its infrastructure and re-aligning internal resources to support and sustain the company’s significant growth experienced in the 1990s.
Orrico holds a bachelor of arts in government and law from Lafayette College, as well as a master of public administration in organizational behavior from Rutgers.
