GIA career fair set for Oct. 11

GIA’s vice-president and chief marketing officer (CMO), Kathryn Kimmel, will give the opening presentation at the institute’s Jewelry Career Fair in Carlsbad, Calif. on Oct. 11.

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is once again holding its Jewelry Career Fair and Open House.

Set for Oct. 11 at GIA’s world headquarters in Carlsbad, Calif., the fair sees industry members, job seekers, and recruiters gathering to network and make career connections. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Highlights include:

First held in 1991, GIA’s career fair has since expanded to include more than 40 events in India, Las Vegas, New York, and Carlsbad.
