Greater attendance expected at Las Vegas antique show

[1]Preparations are ramping up for the 19th Annual Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show.

Held at the Paris Hotel and Casino from May 28 to 31, the trade-only event will welcome hundreds of dealers, with organizers predicting an increase in attendance over 2014’s edition.

“Last year, our show proved the increasing interest and importance of antique, estate, and vintage jewellery with attendance increasing by 11 per cent cumulatively, despite tightened registration criteria for those wishing to attend,” says Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions’ vice-president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager.

“We’re very excited for this year’s event and are anticipating another increase in overall attendance, as new exhibitors have been added to complement the list of well-known dealers. Attendees can again expect to see merchandise not previously available in this marketplace.”

Organizers say the show is set to boast never-before-seen pieces, along with gemstone and diamond jewellery, retro watches, unique brooches, flora and fauna statement pieces, chandelier earrings, and more.

Product ranges from the Renaissance to modern periods, with signed pieces being offered from famous names, including Cartier, Tiffany & Co., David Webb, Harry Winston, Patek Philippe, Van Cleef & Arpels, and many others.
