Meeting the growing demand for consistent gem certification in one of India’s largest diamond jewellery manufacturing hubs is the goal of Gemological Science International’s (GSI’s) latest lab.
The organization has expanded its global footprint with the opening of a new facility in Bengaluru, India. The lab, located in a district known for its special diamond settings and craftsmanship, is equipped with advanced testing and screening equipment to offer the most accurate reports to the jewellery trade, GSI reports.
“We understand the key role of Bengaluru in the growth of jewellery trade in South India and are delighted to offer our tailor-made gemmological services to both the manufacturing and retail trade,” says Ramit Kapur, the managing director of GSI India.
“We are thrilled to inaugurate our new laboratory in Bengaluru, further reinforcing our presence in India,” adds the organization’s president and co-founder, Debbie Azar. “With our vast experience and expertise, GSI aims to significantly contribute to the Indian jewellery industry by delivering reliable and efficient gemmological services.”
