A proprietary ‘Find Your Diamond’ system is one of the features attendees of the new Jewellery & Gem Fair Europe in Freiburg, Germany, can expect.
Developed by the Israeli Diamond Institute (IDI), the resource enables buyers to search the inventory of all Israeli exhibitors at the show to find the exact diamonds they are seeking.
Held from April 1 to 4, the new UBM trade show overlaps with BaselWorld. Thirty Israeli companies will be part of the Israel Diamond Pavilion, while five others can be found at other locations within the show.
“We’re hoping that if this show takes off, it can offer Israeli diamond companies an alternative to BaselWorld, which over the years has become a less appropriate venue for diamantaires,” said IDI managing director Eli Avidar.
