Four industry organizations are the recipients of the 2011 JCK Industry Fund.

Jeweler’s Security Alliance (JSA), American Gem Society (AGS), Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC), and the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) will share in the yearly grant. Now in its 13th year, the fund has handed out more than $5 million to organizations and individuals.

“Every year, JCK is pleased to award these grants to worthy individuals and organizations who contribute significantly to our industry,” said Dave Bonaparte, group vice-president for JCK Events. “As a global leader in the jewellery industry, JCK believes the JCK Industry Fund is an important element in its corporate responsibility to give back and nurture the industry that it serves.”

The fund is awarded to organizations and associations who work toward the betterment of the industry through the development of training materials and raising its profile in the eyes of consumers.

This year’s recipients will receive their grants at a presentation ceremony during JCK Las Vegas in June.
