Following the cancellation of many of this year’s trade shows, JCK and Luxury are moving forward with a digital alternative.
Show organizer Reed Exhibitions has announced JCK Virtual 2020. The online event, set to take place August 10 to 14, touts a ‘reconnecting’ theme, and will feature JCK Talks, product browsing and buying, virtual meetings, interactive networking, and more.
“During these unprecedented times, JCK and Luxury’s main objective has been to support our community, listen to our customers, and facilitate the personal and business connections our industry is built on in the safest way possible,” says JCK and Luxury’s group vice-president, Sarin Bachmann.
“JCK Virtual will be the week when the fine jewellery and watch industry comes together, schedules appointments, and reconnects in a way never before seen, virtually.”
The event, which also features an invite-only Luxury digital show, is free to qualified professional jewellery buyers.
Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in JCK’s sister show, JIS October, scheduled to take place in Miami from October 13 to 16.
“While we are longing for in-person connections amongst industry colleagues, friends, and customers,” Bachmann says, “we look forward to the opportunities JCK has planned to reconnect and reunite: our enriching virtual experience in August, in-person at JIS October in Miami, and returning to our typical date pattern at our home away from home, the Sands Expo & The Venetian, in June 2021,”
Registration for JCK Virtual opens in July. For more information, click here.
