KP cert numbers for Antwerp heist diamonds released

A list of Kimberley Process (KP) certificate numbers has been released for the diamonds stolen from the hold of an airplane at Brussels International Airport.

The European Union (EU) has released Kimberley Process (KP) certificate numbers for $50 million of rough diamonds stolen from an airplane in Antwerp.

In a heist straight out of a Hollywood flick, thieves swiped the stones from the hold of a Swiss-bound aircraft at Brussels International Airport on Feb. 18.

The EU and the World Diamond Council (WDC) are warning the trade to be on the lookout for diamonds carrying the following KP certificate numbers:

Anyone offered these diamonds is asked to contact authorities in their country.
