Fifteen per cent more people attended the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch show this year, an indication of the strength of the estate and vintage market.

The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch show closed with a 15 per cent increase in attendance.

Held at the MGM Grand during the other jewellery trade shows, the four-day event dedicated to antique, vintage, and one-of-a-kind jewellery and watches featured more than 300 national and international dealers.

“The gate saw a record number of buyers who were actively purchasing at this year’s show,” said Andrea Canady, the fair’s director. “This increase in attendees is a reflection of the stabilization of our industry. This unprecedented number of dealers who came out to our show and purchased exceptional one-of-a-kind items for their customers proves the resilience of the antique and estate jewellery industry.”

Next year’s show will be held at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel from June 2 to 5.
