Toronto police are on the lookout for a $35,000 Cartier watch taken from a Yorkville memorabilia store.
The 1987 men’s chronograph with date function disappeared from the store on Oct. 2 sometime between 10 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.
Police say one or more suspects unlocked a glass display case before making off with the 18-karat gold limited-edition watch. Specially commissioned by Enzo Ferrari, the 40-mm timepiece is #35 in the series of 50, and engraved with the Ferrari logo and ‘035’ on the back.
