Limited-edition Cartier stolen from Yorkville store

A 40-mm 1987 Cartier men’s chronograph in 18-karat gold with date function stolen from a Yorkville store.

Toronto police are on the lookout for a $35,000 Cartier watch taken from a Yorkville memorabilia store.

The 1987 men’s chronograph with date function disappeared from the store on Oct. 2 sometime between 10 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.

SB_2[2]Police say one or more suspects unlocked a glass display case before making off with the 18-karat gold limited-edition watch. Specially commissioned by Enzo Ferrari, the 40-mm timepiece is #35 in the series of 50, and engraved with the Ferrari logo and ‘035’ on the back.
