Luxury Brand Group PR director honoured

Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California has bestowed its Rising Star Award on PR executive Jen Cullen Williams.

PR executive Jen Cullen Williams has been awarded the Rising Star Award by the Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California.

Williams serves as managing director for Luxury Brand Group, which represents industry heavyweights in Canada and the United States, such as American Gem Society (AGS), Jewelers Mutual, and VicenzaOro.

“The Rising Star Award was created to honour a young leader that has shown a passion and commitment for the betterment of our industry,” said club president, Niveet Nagpal.

“Ms. Williams is very deserving of this honour, as she is one of the most gifted and dedicated professionals in our industry.”

The club’s 2016 honorees also include Nikhil Jhaveri and Mary Todd-McGinnis. Jhaveri is president of the Jhaveri Diamond Corp., and Elan Luxury Collections. He is also president of the Diamond Club West Coast and a member of the executive committee of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB).

Todd-McGinnis is VP of sales and training at Ben Bridge Jeweler. She is a recipient of the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) National Award for Excellence and American Gem Society’s (AGS’s) Distinguished Service Award.

Honorees will be recognized during the club’s 72nd Annual Dinner Dance and Gala in Beverly Hills in October.
