MCH Group, which organizes Baselworld, has appointed Florian Faber CEO of its live marketing solutions division.

As MCH Group seeks to prioritize its live marketing solutions division, it has named a new CEO for this business area.

Florian Faber, who has worked with the Baselworld organizer since 2009, is stepping into the role. He has also been named a member of MCH Group’s Executive Board.

Faber is succeeding Jean-Marc Devaud, who is leaving the company for personal reasons after 10 years in the role.

“MCH Group would like to thank Jean-Marc Devaud for his great contribution and wish him every success in his continuing career,” said Ulrich Vischer, chair of the group’s Board of Directors.

Faber served as business manager of the group’s ‘Expomobilia’ (later renamed MCH Live Marketing Solutions AG) beginning in 2009, then was named head of sales for the division in 2011. He became its managing director in the summer of 2014.

MCH Group credits Faber with accomplishments including the strategic realignment of the division and the development and expansion of its stand, event, and pavilion construction business unit.

“With Florian Faber, we are delighted to have an exceedingly competent, in-house successor who has worked with Jean-Marc Devaud for many years and will continue along the path embarked upon by the live marketing solutions division,” said Hans-Kristian Hoejsgaard, MCH Group’s interim CEO.
