
Metalsmiths Sterling has named Jim Grohn its new executive vice-president.
“Jim brings us more than 20 years of experience in brand building, with a complete understanding and combination of sales, marketing, and management experience,” said Metalsmiths co-owner and chief executive officer (CEO), Lee Konidas.
Grohn will be responsible for leading all phases of Metalsmiths’ brand development strategies throughout the United States and the Caribbean. He previously served as president of Belle Étoile.
In related company news, Metalsmiths Sterling announced it had appointed Goldstein Communications as its agency of record. Goldstein brings with it more than 30 years’ experience in branding and marketing for fine jewellery brands. According to Metalsmiths, social media will play a key role in Goldstein’s marketing plan for the company as a way to interact with both the end consumer and retail partners.
Metalsmiths Sterling’s collections are carried by independent, upscale jewellers throughout the United States, Caribbean, and Canada.
