The Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show will now be held at the Miami Airport Convention Center.
Showcasing a variety of antique, vintage, and estate jewellery and watches, the event takes place Nov. 7 to 9.
The convention centre currently hosts 15,979m2 (172,000 sf) of meeting and exhibition space.
“The Miami Airport Convention Center’s proximity to major highways in south Florida allows buyers from nearby counties easy access to the show,” said Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions’ vice-president and U.S. Antique Shows’ general manager.
“Plus, the new space will provide attendees a greater variety of merchandise to find special and unique gifts for the upcoming holiday season.”
More than 100 dealers will participate, exhibiting jewellery and watch collections from the Renaissance to Retro eras, as well as signed pieces from global brands like Cartier, Rolex, Tiffany & Co., and Harry Winston.
This year, the show will also be hosting the South Florida GIA Alumni Association and AGS Guild of South Florida’s educational session entitled, “The 10 Jewelry Trends That You Need to Know Now & Why.” Jennifer Heebner, senior editor of JCK Magazine, will highlight the hottest looks in new jewellery.
The session will be held Nov. 7 and is open to all GIA alumni, as well as members of the AGS Guild. Networking begins at 7 p.m. with the session starting at 7:30 p.m. Light food and refreshments will be available.
