The Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show will be held at the Miami Airport Convention Center from Nov. 14 to 16, 2014.

Starting in 2014, the Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show will be held in Miami, a move that allows the event to coincide with the International Watch & Jewelry Guild’s (IWJG) trade show.

Held at the Miami Airport Convention Center, the show will now be known as the Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show. Next year, it runs from Nov. 14 to 16.

“By moving this show to Miami, we’re able to respond to requests from our dealers and attendees by hosting this show in November versus earlier date patterns in September and October,” said Dan Darby, group show director for U.S. Antique Shows and vice-president of George Little Management (GLM).

“The Miami Airport Convention Center already hosts our Miami National Antique Show and was uniquely able to fulfil this request for us.”

The Miami Airport Convention Center has 172,000 sf of meeting and exhibition space, allowing for a projected 20 per cent increase in exhibitors.

“This is a winning situation for everyone,” said Joe Nelson, executive director of the International Watch & Jewelry Guild.

“The IWJG members and the Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show dealers have an opportunity to experience these two great shows on one business trip. We’re excited!”
