Milus’ Tirion TriRetrograde Seconds Skeleton 1919 Limited Edition won Best Timepiece at the 2009 Couture Design Awards
Swiss watch brand Milus took home the Best of Timepieces honour at the Couture Design Awards in Las Vegas last month for its Tirion TriRetrograde Seconds Skeleton 1919 Limited Edition.

Recently launched at BaselWorld 2009, the Tirion is limited to 38 pieces worldwide. The watch is fashioned in 18-karat red gold 6N version, which is the gold tone used when the company was founded in 1919. It has a mechanical movement with automatic winding.

The Couture Design Awards honour established designers, new and emerging talent, and promote the appreciation of jewellery and timepiece design.

More than 10,000 votes were cast online during the first round of voting from May 13 to May 22. The process narrowed the list to three in each of the 13 categories for a total of 39 finalists. Winners were announced at the Couture 2009 Welcome Reception held at Encore at the Wynn.
