Retailers attending JCK Las Vegas will now have a greater range of watch products from which to fill their showcases.
A pre-show survey conducted by show organizer, Reed Exhibitions, found more than 50 per cent of those polled said they were interested in both watches and jewellery when planning their appointments at JCK, spurring the addition of more brands to the exhibitor list. Other changes include:
• renaming Hall of Time to Watches by JCK;
• creation of an open lounge for buyers in JCK’s watch section with daily happy hours; and
• the addition of watch seminars led by Thomas Schumaker of the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute.
“The watch category has always been a great source of enthusiasm for our show, with Swiss Watch and Luxury setting the bar for excellence in this market,” said Yancy Weinrich, industry vice-president. “Now we are even more excited to have a full roster of brands exhibiting between those two shows and the newly evolved Hall of Time into Watches at JCK.
“We feel this breadth of product will be of great value to the watch buyers who will be in attendance at this year’s show.”
New additions include, Bering, Cover, CX Swiss Military, Dubey & Schaldenbrand, Escada, Holler, Marea, Max Watches, Mulco, Nivrel, Paris Hilton, Police, Savoy, and Timberland.
Watches at JCK will be held in the Bayside Exhibit Hall on Level 1 of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, while Luxury while be in the Luxury Ballroom on Level 2. The brands of Swiss Watch can be seen by appointment in the designated suites of Mandalay Bay, THEhotel, and Mandarin.
