Jewellery appraisal software provider, Instappraise, and the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA) have joined forces to unveil two distinct scholarships. The scholarships hope to support both aspiring and established jewellery appraisers by advancing education within the industry.

The first scholarship, the Instappraise NAJA Non-Member Scholarship, aimed at those who are not NAJA members. The award offers a comprehensive package including a one-year NAJA membership fee, lessons on to five of the NAJA Appraisal Studies Course, and a one-year subscription to the Instappraise.com appraisal software platform, valued at US$2,070 (C$2,848).

The second scholarship, the Instappraise NAJA Member Scholarship, is designed specifically for existing NAJA members. It encompasses a one-year NAJA membership fee, lessons six to 18 of the NAJA Appraisal Studies Course, and a one-year subscription to Instappraise.com appraisal software platform, with a total value of US$1,775 (C$2,442).

NAJA executive director Gail Brett Levine says, “This partnership with Instappraise is a continuation of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers’ commitment to appraisal education and supporting individuals in their pursuit of professional achievements.”

Applicants for both scholarships must meet specific eligibility criteria and adhere to outlined conditions, including submitting a compelling essay outlining their suitability for the scholarship and documentation of their gemmological qualifications.

The deadline for applications is June 15, 2024, and recipients will be announced at NAJA’s 62nd Annual ACEit Mid-Year Education Conference, which will be held from Aug. 10 to 12, 2024.

Further information can be found on the Instappraise[1] website.
