Something new is on its way to Las Vegas in 2019. Emerald Expositions Jewelry Group—which also produces Couture, JA New York, and the U.S. Antique Shows—has announced the launch of Premier, a fine jewellery trade event that will kick off in the City of Lights next year.
Scheduled for Las Vegas Market Week, the show will run May 31 to June 4, 2019, and will co-locate with the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show and American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) GemFair Las Vegas. All three exhibitions will be based at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“The launch of Premier has been many years in the making,” said Drew Lawsky, Emerald Expositions’ group show director. “This event will provide a home in Las Vegas to manufacturers and brands who are seeking an alternative environment in which to exhibit during Las Vegas Market Week.”
The show is expected to feature a broad selection of fine jewellery and timepieces from both emerging designers and established manufacturers and brands. Its marketing will be managed by the same team that arranges communications for the Couture, JA New York, and U.S. Antique Show events. Show organizers say they plan to put their experience planning these events to use in co-ordinating the launch of Premier.
“Based on our experience and the strategic knowledge we’ve garnered over the course of thoroughly researching this launch, we believe Premier has a unique value proposition within the market, and we intend to cultivate an experience during Market Week that benefits our entire industry,” said Gannon Brousseau, senior vice-president of Emerald Expositions.
