Nouvo Mode International is teaming up with Swiss watch brand, Frédérique Constant as its sales agency. “Acting as the representative sales agents for Frédérique Constant, we seek to exemplify how our time, dedication, and passion for beautiful instruments of timekeeping can lead to the unfolding of a great partnership,” said Aren Arkarakas, Nouvo Mode’s managing director. “Most of the world’s best-known watch manufacturers are based in Geneva. Cross-fertilization between companies, as well as co-operation with suppliers, enables independent manufacturers to remain at the forefront of precision watchmaking. With this
knowledge of expertise in watchmaking, our goal at Nouvo Mode is to evolve the retail watch industry with a new vision.” The watchmaker recently made headlines when company co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) Peter Stas spoke out against the Swiss anti-trust governing authority’s decision to allow Swatch Group to reduce its delivery of mechanical movements by up to 30 per cent. At the time, he said many companies would shut down. Although Frédérique Constant developed its first calibre more than a decade ago, it said it needs another five years before it can produce the critical assortment, the watch oscillating system.
