Ontario’s GIA Alumni Association has given its website an overhaul.
In addition to setting up a dedicated Ontario chapter e-mail address, the group is also updating its member database.
General listings that include a name, e-mail address, and/or phone number are free. There is a yearly fee for adding a link.
The group is also lining up guest speakers for its spring lecture event. To propose a topic, send an e-mail to giaalumniontario@gmail.com. Anyone interested in adding his or her name to the listing is also asked to contact Shelley Bramston at the same e-mail address.
The association’s mission is to develop relationships among its members and other GIA alumni around the world, as well as provide opportunities for continuing education throughout the gem and jewellery industry.
